Establishment of Manheim Guopai in China.
Shanghai Manheim Guopai Motor Vehicle Auction Co., Ltd ("Manheim Guopai") was granted approval by China's Ministry of Commerce on April 6th, 2006. Manheim Guopai is a joint venture enterprise jointly invested by Manheim China Holdings and Shanghai International Commodity Auction Co., Ltd. ("Shanghai Guopai"). Manheim China Holdings is an offshore holding company 100% owned by Manheim. Shanghai Guopai is one of the largest auction companies in China. The establishment of Manheim Guopai is an indication of Manheim's Asian market influence, and follows a very successful entry into Thailand's auto auction market.
