Terms & Conditions
- 1. MAP will offer for sale as agent for Seller, vehicles owned by Seller.
- 2. The person who offers the highest price has right to buy. If the amount is equal to or higher than the reserve price nominated by the seller, the vehicle will be sold to the highest bidder. If there is any disagreement, the auctioneer can re-auction the vehicle. Dispute can be resolved by reference to the audio tape for the auction.
- 3. The Seller gives full authority to MAP and does not permit anyone to cancel a sale after auction.
- 4. The auctioneer can wait for offer prices, accept or reject auction price and cancel any products from the auction catalogue.
- 5. All products are sold as it is Seller, MAP and auctioneer will not accept responsibility for any defect in product detail, quantity and warranty including any parts that is in a poor condition or unworkable parts which can function as normal Even though all the products or any parts of the products has been modified/ rectification/repaired which may result details are not the same as in the catalogue. Manheim display in the catalogue the odometer reading as indicated by the vehicle. Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of this reading as indicated. Manheim makes no warranties, or assertions as to the accuracy of the odometer for any vehicles in any catalogue. All vehicles are purchased on an 'As Is, Where Is' basis. By registering as a buyer in the auction, all buyers acknowledge that Manheim is not the seller of the vehicle and acknowledges that Manheim is not responsible for any claim what so ever and acknowledges that the buyer hold Manheim immune from any claim what so ever by any other party.
- 6. MAP and Seller do not need to explain all defects and damage of car. The Buyer cannot obtain refund, or refuse any cars that have been purchased by the buyer.
- 7. Buyer is responsible for car delivery expense including others expense such as TAX, stamp duty and transfer.
- 8. Buyer must responsible for all asset and personal damage that occurs during transportation.
- 9. All persons who would like to attend auction and Bid must pay THB 20,000 by cash or cashier cheque for auction Bidding number deposit.
- 10. Every auction is recorded by audio tape for evidence of sales. When auctioneer accepts the highest bid to sell, the auctioneer will fill buyer number and selling price on to the Seller Sheet form. Each buyer will receive sale contract at registration room to confirm the sale.
- 11. Once the auctioneer sells a vehicle the purchaser is required to pay 10% of the purchase price immediately at the cashier office. A Buyers Administration Fee of THB 7,950 (including VAT 7%) applies to all lots purchased in the Financiers vehicle auction and the Salvage vehicle auction. The Buyers Fee for burnt out vehicles is THB 4,000 and for Motorcycles it is THB 1,500. If you purchase a Financiers or Salvage vehicle using Simulcast an additional Buyers Fee of THB 1,290 applies. If you purchase a Motorcycle using Simulcast an additional Buyers Fee of THB 250 applies. Full payment in cash or bank cheque is required by 4pm the working day after the sale.
- 12. Buyer must pay remaining price within 3 days after auction day.
- 13. When buyer pays all remaining amount, and the funds are cleared through Citibank, the buyer must move car the from company site within 3 working days.
- 14. Car ownership will be transferred when buyer paid all remaining money.
- 15. The Buyer must check car condition before leaving the premises and any dispute as to the vehicle condition will be settled by reference to the digital photographs taken when the vehicle is received by MAP.
- 16. If a buyer does not pay remaining money within 3 working days after auction day, MAP and Seller will cancel the sale and retain the deposit money, and the cars will be returned to stock for re-auction.
- 17. From number 16, seller and MAP can request buyer pay compensation.
- 18. Registration name and address or business name and address cannot be amended after sale.
